1. Acceptance
By using the Prowlify browser extension or web dashboard ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Prowlify is an AI lead-generation agent you chat with. It hunts supported platforms — currently Reddit, LinkedIn and X — for people who may need what you sell, qualifies them, and drafts replies and direct messages for your review. The Prowlify browser extension works alongside the web dashboard: it uses your own logged-in browser sessions to fetch content and, only where you have explicitly allowed it, to carry out actions you approve. Prowlify never collects your platform passwords.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or allow others to access it. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will NOT use the Service to:
- Violate the terms of service or content policies of Reddit, LinkedIn, X, or any other platform you connect
- Spam, harass, or send unsolicited bulk messages on any platform
- Impersonate other users or entities
- Post misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
- Circumvent rate limits or otherwise abuse a connected platform
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your Platform Accounts & Responsibility
The extension operates through your own logged-in sessions on the platforms you connect — Reddit, LinkedIn and X. Any action taken through the Service (for example posting a comment, replying, or sending a direct message) appears as an action from your own account on that platform. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to publish or send, and for ensuring it complies with each platform's rules — including Reddit's Terms of Service and Content Policy, LinkedIn's User Agreement, X's Terms of Service, and the rules of any individual community, subreddit, or group.
6. Automated Actions & Write Access
Prowlify is read-only by default. Out of the box, the agent researches and drafts — it takes no autonomous write actions of any kind. Posting, replying, commenting, sending direct messages, and votes or reactions never happen automatically until you deliberately turn them on.
Before Prowlify can perform any write action on your behalf, two things must both be true:
- You have accepted the Automated Actions Terms (current version 2026-07-16), and
- You have enabled the write-access switch for that specific platform — Reddit, LinkedIn, or X — in Settings or from the chat.
These two requirements are enforced on our servers, not just in the interface: write access will not turn on for a platform unless the Automated Actions Terms have been accepted, and each platform is controlled independently. Enabling write access for one platform never enables it for another.
You are always in control. You can switch write access off for any platform at any time — in Settings or from the chat — and Prowlify immediately returns to read-only for that platform. Turning access off never requires accepting anything.
By accepting the Automated Actions Terms and enabling write access, you authorize Prowlify to carry out the specific approved actions through your own logged-in session, and you confirm that you are solely responsible for everything posted or sent from your accounts and for complying with each platform's rules. To help protect your accounts, Prowlify applies daily action limits and pacing to automated activity. These safeguards are designed to reduce risk, but no particular result, deliverability, or freedom from platform enforcement (such as rate-limiting, restriction, or suspension) is guaranteed.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses AI to qualify leads and generate reply and message drafts. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before it is published or sent on Reddit, LinkedIn, X, or any other connected platform. We are not responsible for AI-generated content that you choose to use.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by Prowlify. You retain ownership of any content you create or post through the Service.
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party platforms (Reddit, LinkedIn, X, cloud infrastructure, and AI providers) that are outside our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prowlify is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: suspension or restriction of your accounts on any connected platform, lost leads, or inaccurate AI outputs.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
